The legendary Meadowlark Lemon will be the headliner of a spectacular, star-studded celebrity basketball game on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at The Bob Carpenter Center at the University of Delaware in Newark. Doors open at 3:00 p.m. for pre-game activities like shoot out contests, door prizes and more. The game starts at 4:00 p.m. and ends with a celebrity autograph session.

Meadowlark Lemon and his teammates will take on VIP volunteer players from the tri-state area in a hilarious, fun for the entire family event.  Players such as the University of Delaware's Assistant Football Coach Aaron Harris, the Mayor of Downingtown Josh Maxwell, and former WNBA star and Downingtown High School Girl's Basketball Coach Tina Nicholson, will risk their egos and pride for a good cause and in the name of fun!

Proceeds will help to send the award winning Downingtown High School "Blue & Gold" Marching Pride band to perform in the 122nd Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena California on New Year's Day 2011. Please support this band that is truly an ambassador for the entire tri-state area and is one of only 10 high school bands, and one of only 22 bands in total, which have been selected worldwide to participate in the 2nd most watched televised event each year!
